Mikkel Nørgaard is the Chief Learning Officer at the Danish Scholastic Chess Federation and co-developer of the Federation’s educational programs and initiatives, such as KAS – professional development for scholastic chess teachers® (with the A.P. Møller Foundation). Mikkel has been responsible for training more than 2,000 teachers in scholastic chess and has led several large-scale educational initiatives and SATS-funded programs. Mikkel has extensive experience in large-scale collaborations with schools and municipalities, e.g. in the initiatives SKAK+MAT®, Scholastic Chess for Everyone®, ’Checkmate to Math Difficulties’ and The Brain on the Curriculum®. Mikkel is responsible for dialogue with schools and ensures the quality of the activities
