EDUCATION ACCESS & EQUITY ADVOCATE
Kwadwo is Senior Vice President of Account Management & Business Development at PIMCO, one of the world’s leading investment management firms. He brings a multidisciplinary background that spans finance, engineering, and creative strategy – with a lifelong commitment to youth empowerment through education.

Kwadwo is a board member and External Relations Chair of Chess in the Schools (CIS), a nonprofit that delivers tuition-free chess instruction and academic support to students in New York City’s Title I public schools. A proud alumnus of CIS’s Raging Rooks program, he now plays a pivotal leadership role in expanding access to educational opportunity – helping raise over \$1 million annually and mentoring students from underrepresented backgrounds to achieve excellence in school and beyond.

Professionally, Kwadwo leads institutional and public-sector client engagement at PIMCO, where he focuses on aligning long-term investment strategies with sustainable, inclusive economic outcomes. His expertise in stakeholder management and business development reflects a deep understanding of systemic change – whether in capital markets or in classrooms.

Kwadwo’s impact extends beyond finance. As a trained civil engineer, he holds professional experience across Ghana, China, the UK, and the Netherlands, and is the founder of Kwadwography, a creative studio combining architecture, drone media, and design. He serves as official drone pilot for the Ghana Highways Authority and is the founder of AA Gallery Ghana, a cultural platform promoting African visual storytelling.

His journey – from a chess-playing student in the Bronx to an executive and global creative – underscores the transformative power of opportunity, mentorship, and imagination. Kwadwo continues to work at the intersection of equity, education, and enterprise to reimagine what’s possible for the next generation.
